Meet Cornelius! The best imaginary friend one could ever ask for. He’s a fluffy, huggable creature who’s always got Maple’s back. Cornelius is here to help Maple overcome her fears while embarking on the puzzle platforming adventure that is Sprouting Spirit: Dream Duo.

As a 3D and Technical Artist on the Whirly Birds development team, I helped bring Cornelius to life! I was responsible for the Cornelius character rig and textures. I spent a lot of time developing extensive functionality for the Cornelius rig to ensure that our animators had an expressive toolset to work with. I also iterated on my texture work to find a stylistic match to both the Cornelius concept art and our internal team vision. Huge shoutout to my fellow talented team members who worked alongside me to bring this whimsical world to life!
